The Wild Kind Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Wild Kind Collective sessions. By booking a session, you agree to the following:
Booking & Payment
-
Payment is required at the time of booking.
-
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the session are eligible for a refund or transfer.
-
Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of The Wild Kind.
Attendance
-
All children must be booked in advance.
-
For Stay & Play sessions, children must remain accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the session.
-
For Youth Summer Sessions, children must be signed in and out by a parent/carer with a member of the The Wild Kind team.
Medical Information
-
Parents/carers must provide accurate and up-to-date medical information, including allergies, medical conditions and emergency contact details.
-
It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to inform Wild Kind of any changes before attending a session.
Outdoor Environment
-
Our sessions take place outdoors in all but unsafe weather conditions.
-
Participants should arrive dressed appropriately for the weather and wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear that may get muddy.
-
During sessions participants should not touch or pick unknown species of flora, fauna or berries without the support of a Wild Kind Collective member of staff.
Risk Acknowledgement
-
Outdoor learning involves managed risks, including uneven ground, mud, insects, changing weather and other natural hazards.
-
The Wild Kind Team carries out appropriate risk assessments and takes all reasonable steps to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for participants.
Behaviour
-
We expect all children and adults to behave respectfully towards others, staff, equipment and the natural environment.
-
The Wild Kind Team reserves the right to end a participant's involvement in a session if behaviour presents a risk to themselves or others, or is disruptive to the safe running of the session.
Illness
-
Children who are unwell or have a contagious illness should not attend sessions.
-
Participants who have had a temperature, vomiting or diarrhoea must not attend a session until 48 hours after the last symptom.
-
If your child becomes unwell during a session, we will contact you and ask that they are collected as soon as possible.
Weather Cancellations
-
Sessions take place in most weather conditions unless it is deemed unsafe to do so.
-
If a session has to be cancelled due to severe weather or circumstances beyond our control, a transfer to another session or a refund will be offered.
Lost Property
-
Please ensure all clothing and belongings are clearly named.
-
The Wild Kind cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen personal belongings.
Late Collection (Youth Summer Sessions)
-
Children must be collected promptly at the end of the session.
-
If you are delayed, please contact The Wild Kind team as soon as possible.
-
Additional charges may apply for late collection where staff are required to remain after the scheduled finish time.
Ticks & Insects
-
As our sessions take place in natural outdoor environments, participants may come into contact with insects, including ticks.
-
We recommend that children wear suitable clothing, use insect repellent where appropriate, and that parents/carers carry out a tick check after sessions held in woodland or areas of long grass.
Photography
-
We will only take photographs of your child if you have provided permission through our photo consent process.
-
Images will only be used for the purposes you have agreed to.
Emergency Treatment
-
In the event of an accident or medical emergency, The Wild Kind staff will administer appropriate first aid.
-
Where necessary, emergency services will be contacted, and every reasonable effort will be made to contact the parent/carer immediately.
Safeguarding
-
The Wild Kind Team is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children.
-
Any safeguarding concerns will be managed in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy and relevant legal requirements.
Liability
-
While every reasonable care is taken to provide a safe environment, participation in outdoor activities carries inherent risks.
-
The Wild Kind Collective maintains appropriate Employer's Liability and Public Liability Insurance.
-
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where this would be unlawful.
Data Protection
-
Personal information will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
-
Please refer to our Privacy Notice for full details of how your information is collected, used, stored and shared.

-
The Wild Kind reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
-
Any significant changes will be communicated to parents/carers before they take effect.
